Asante Akim is one of the well known districts located in the eastern part of the Ashanti Region of Ghana; with a vast and rich history, the Asante people have a wide range of culinary dishes some of which we take pride in serving. The restaurant was named Asante Akim in honour of its people and their rich history; we further honour them by introducing the world to their delicious and diverse culinary cuisines. We take pride in all our dishes and ensure that every single meal is made the way it is supposed to. Some of our ingredients may be seasonal, but fear not-we will amend our menu accordingly.

Asante Akim opened its doors after a gap was found that most west African restaurants did not deliver on authenticity. Even though the dishes in most of these restaurants were delicious, we felt as though most of the core ingredients were missing and  a lot of shortcuts were taken to deliver these dishes.

Our core mission is to ensure that our dishes are as authentic as possible, leaving little or no difference in the taste and presentation even on your return home.
